Most of the products and supplies used are packaged and created with recycled material, and are also re-recycled when ready to discard to minimize waste.



~ Use of soy based ink, and recycled paper. 

 Heather tries to limit her printing usage in order to conserve paper and energy.  Any advertisement she distributes is printed with Soy based ink and she only uses recycled paper. 



~ Organic/Naturceutical products- 

 Every product line that Heather carries and/or uses in the salon is organic, Naturceutical, or Gluten-Free.  No products used contain any Parabens, DEA, MEA, Sodium Sulfates, or Propylene Glycol.  They are all Vegan, and are animal cruelty free.

~ Energy efficient tools and energy savings-   

All supplies that require electricity are unplugged when not in use in order to conserve energy and are purchased according to energy usage.


~No Paper/Styrofoam/plastic waste- 

Glass cups are used for our guest in order to enjoy their drinks instead of paper or Styrofoam cups.  We also use a Brita water filter to serve water instead of serving bottled water.  Organic cotton towels are used in the bathroom for hand washing instead of paper towels in order to minimize waste, cancel out the use of toxic products, and conserve our resources



~Use of canvas retail bags- 

to refrain from using plastic bags to carry product, Heather uses canvas bags and give a discount to guest that bring them back their next visit!



~Green Cleaning Supplies-

 Mainly all cleaning and sanitizing supplies are all eco-friendly products.



~Eco-friendly business cards and Website-

 Heather's business cards are FSC certified 100% recycled paper, 50% post consumer waste, that are also printed with soy-based/veg based ink.  Powered by 100% renewable energy, this website is energy efficient.

 She is continuously researching and upgrading any supplies, products, and or helpful ways that can make the salon more eco-friendly and energy efficient.
